Today, October 24th at 11:30am, the staff and students at Lefors School participated in a lockdown drill. The purpose of the drill was to prepare our students and staff for any emergency that may occur where it may be necessary for us to lock down our campus. In preparation for the drill, staff told students that we are practicing being safe just as we do for tornado and fire drills. Safety is our top priority at Lefors ISD. We conduct drills because we want students and staff members to be safe as well as develop an awareness of their roles in these various scenarios.

Shirts are white with long sleeves and will have the design on the front and names on the back. Orders must be placed before 4:00pm today. We are very excited for our first District Football Game today in Silverton! Our student athletes and coaches have put in countless hours of hard work to prepare. Just as a reminder, any negative comments to or about our cheerleaders, players, coaches, referees, or other fans will result in one verbal warning from an administrator. If the behavior continues it result in automatic removal from the current game and the following two games. The UIL Fan Expectations are attached. Thank you for your cooperation in helping make the games encouraging and enjoyable for all.
The field trip scheduled for this Thursday, October 5th for 3rd, 4th & 5th grade has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
